Homosexuality has been a taboo issue for the Church for many generations. Although the act of homosexuality is in conflict with our Creators intent, [as prescribed within the Scriptures], it doesn’t alleviate the Church from addressing the issue and providing a nurturing ministry to those that suffer the temptation of it. It is incumbent upon those individuals who have persevered through the trials and temptations of homosexuality to provide the tools to those that are currently tempted by a physical attraction to the same gender. As a Church, it is our responsibility to understand the reality of this topic and how we can best help our friends, family, or even ourselves.
Elder Andrew King will be presiding over a discussion with a couple individuals who have walked through this struggle and continue to love God and seek to serve Him. This ministry is geared at providing an environment to have an open dialogue with Christians that suffer with homosexual thoughts and/or acts. This is also an effort to reassure those that are lost that there are Brothers and Sisters in the Faith that have overcome these trials with a firm faith in Jesus Christ.
This presentation/ministry will NOT be recorded.
Please keep all of our brothers and sisters in Christ in your prayers, because we all suffer under the sinful nature of this world.
